Soft Life
In a society designed for extroverts, the introvert longs for a place of their own. With my design for a day and night club, the prism allows the visitor to enjoy their inner world. Introversion is often compared to quiet strength, and a prism spatially amplifies this strength. Its magic works by bending and reflecting light. Just like the prism, introverted individuals can subtly exert influence. The different facets of the prism cast a different light on every situation in the space. It bends and reflects light, revealing various colors. Similarly, introversion directs attention inward, exploring and processing thoughts and emotions. The prism is a complex phenomenon that grants depth, versatility, and inner strength to the introvert. Both have unique ways of experiencing the world and can gently add beauty and meaning to life in their own way. Graduation project 2023 Location : Former Philips factory - Zwolle, the Netherlands
